Romania's medical system, vulnerable to cyber attacks, says analyst

The Romanian medical system, which includes patients’ digital records, can be the target of cyber attacks, analysts say. Romania has introduced on February 1, 2015 the mandatory health cards, which contain private data that has to be secured. The medical system should be pro-active rather than wait until such situations occur. “They should rather prevent them by creating integrated security systems which can protect the networks,” said Adrian Danciu, representative of network security company Fortinet Romania, cited by local Dailybusiness.ro.
