Romania's gross domestic product (GDP) grew in the second quarter of this year by 0.2 percent quarter-on-quarter, according to the Romanian National Institute of Statistics (INS). The industry segment had the highest increase, of 4.9 percent, followed by agriculture, hunting and forestry, fishing and fisheries. Slightly increases in activity were also registered in trade, car repair, hotels and restaurants, transport and telecommunications, and financial, real estate and renting activities for companies.
