Romania's Farmec sells EUR 30 mln worth of cosmetics in 2013

Romanian cosmetics producer Farmec upped its turnover last year by 14 percent, to some EUR 30.6 million, mainly fueled by new investments in recent years and by products launched in 2013, the company has announced. In 2013, Farmec, a fully – owned Romanian company, opened its Beauty Center in Cluj, near its factory, on some 225 sqm, which includes a stop and an area of cosmetics consultancy. This year, the company plans to further invest in research and development and in launching new products, mainly for personal care and household maintenance.
