Romania had a 53.12% rate of European funds absorption for the period 2007-2013 at the end of March. This was 0.53% higher from end-February, according to the European Funds Ministry. In April, the Ministry will conclude with several private and public beneficiaries contracts worth EUR 132 million. These are financed through the Economic Competitiveness Operational Programme. “This year is extremely important because it’s the last one when we can spend the funds allocated by the EU for the 2007-2013 programming period,” said European Funds Minister Marius Nica. editor@romania-insider.com
