The Romanian credit brokers intermediated EUR 291 million worth of loans last year, namely 6% of the total market. In Romania, only six out of 100 people contact somebody for brokering a loan whereas the average percentage in Central Europe amounts to 40%, according to the Romanian Association of Credit Brokers (ARBC), reports local Economica.net.
The percentage reaches 70% in Western Europe and 90% in the US.
The companies that are part of the Romanian Association of Credit Brokers brokered credits worth EUR 143 million last year. On average, about 10 families move daily to a new house through loans brokered by ARBC, said the ARBC president Anca Bidian. editor@romania-insider.com
