Romania's Black Sea welcomes 30 yachts for Lufthansa Regina Maria Regatta this weekend

Over 30 yachts will race in Lufthansa Regina Maria Regatta organized at the Romanian seaside this weekend, following the route Tomis – Costinesti - Mangalia – Limanu. The regatta, which is the second stage of the Samsung Romania Cup, is organized by Royal Romanian Yacht Club. The event takes place this weekend, between June 27 and June 29. The regatta includes the longest offshore race along the Romanian coast, starting in Tomis Constanta port, and then continuing on the route Costinesti – Mangalia – Portul Limanu. The schedule of the event will also include inshore racing. The event’s program starts on June 27 with technical sessions, while the race is scheduled to start Saturday (June 28), at 11,30. A surprise party will also be organized on Saturday evening for the participants. Inshore racing will be organized on the last day of the event, June 29, while the award ceremony is scheduled for 16,00. Irina Popescu, irina.popescu@romania-insider.com
