Romania's Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration to organize EUR 35 mln auction for property registration

Romania's National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI) will organize an auction in March for recording real estate in 41 counties into the national cadastre and land registry, under a contract worth EUR 35.19 million (VAT included), for four years. Funding for this project will be provided from ANCPI's own sources, reports local Mediafax. At the end of last year, ANCPI launched for public debate the Draft Government Decision on the approval of the National Programme for Cadastre and Land Registration (PNCCF) for 2014-2023. The program targets free real estate registration into the integrated system for cadastre and land registry, to create a complete real estate database in the country. The estimated budget to implement the program will be of EUR 973.5 million between 2014 and 2023, half of which needed to carry out the cadastral measurements. editor@romania-insider.com
