Romanians who own compulsory property insurance policies (PAID) received EUR 500,000 for the damages produced by the largest earthquake last year. Many filed complaints for very small damages, but the law obliges the responsible institution to compensate all of them, said Nicoleta Radu-Neacsu, general manager of Insurance Pool against Natural Disasters (PAID), reports local Agerpres.
