State-owned energy transport company Transelectrica posted a net profit of EUR 36.5 million (RON 153.7 million), 29 times higher than the one reported in the same period in 2010, and a net turnover of EUR 463 million (RON 1.95 billion), up 7.7 percent over the first nine months of last year. Transelectrica’s expenses went down by 1.5 percent year-on-year, to EUR 451 million (RON 1.9 billion).
