Romanian telecom operator RCS&RDS was fined over EUR 2,200 for refusing to transfer to prepaid cards phone numbers that were operating via a subscription in another network. If the company doesn’t change its policy, it could get bigger fines, reports local Hotnews.ro. RCS&RDS replied that the company respected the norms imposed by the National Communication Authority ANCOM. The fine was due to an “unpleasant situation which occurred to a customer." RCS&RDS is controlled by local investor Zoltan Teszari. The company recently announced that it reached over 2 million subscribers for its mobile services, two years after launching them. editor@romania-insider.com (photo source: RCS & RDS on Facebook)
