Romanian songs: Inima & POHUI by Carla's Dreams

We discovered Carla's Dreams after we avoided it for a while, as its most known song today, POHUI, a featuring with the already famous Inna, seemed too commercial. But after we gave it a chance, we discovered a great band, which plays music that sounds different. In the end, it was hard to decide what song to feature, all seemed worthy of being listened to and discovered. We choose the song Inima and POHUI – feat. Inna. Discover the other songs on the band's YouTube page. The band is a mystery – it makes it even cooler, no? They choose only to say they're from the Republic of Moldova and to spin it using a marketing slogan that says Carla's Dreams is anyone who listens to their songs. Some of their songs are in Romanian, some in Russian. They are equally interesting and the style seems to change from some of the songs to others, but they still stand out somehow. Some of the sounds are psychedelic, the choice of instruments is interesting, and the lyrics have a strong and deep message, so after many commercial songs, Carla's Dreams are a breath of fresh air. editor@romania-insider.com
