Romanian song: U (Fighting with my ghosts) by Delia

We've been listening to this song here and there for the last month or so, and we wanted to see if we still like it after listening to it so often. The answer was yes, we still like it, so here it is for you to enjoy it too: U (Fighting with my ghosts) by Delia (song and video below). It was for us an unexpected song coming from Delia (Matache), whose style was more dance, but this song has some reggae, jazz and groove influences as well, and is a bit more sophisticated. The video too shows a more sophisticated Delia – with some inspiration form Lady Gaga's costumes here too -, but all in all the package is good. The 31-year old Romanian artist who graduated a music highschool and the Music Conservatory in Bucharest, had her debut in the band N&D. In 2003, after the band split up, she launched her solo career. She became better known and more successful in 2011. She was jury member at the local edition of the XFactor, and will also be part of the third season of the music competition which will start later on this year. editor@romania-insider.com (photo source: Delia's website)
