A majority change in the Senate is due to happen in a few days, followed by a similar change in the Chamber of Deputies, and finally by the Government reshuffle, said senator Mircea Geoana. The current majority in the Senate is very “fluid”, and senators are already convinced that the future consists of a strategic partnership between the left and the right, Geoana added, cited by local Mediafax. He is not interested in becoming President of the Senate – a position he held in the past - and said that it was too early to talk about future positions. Geoana had talks with National Liberal Party (PNL) representatives, but they did not mention who the next President of the Senate could be, the senator added. editor@romania-insider.com
