Romanian bottled water producer Rio Bucovina hopes to have EUR 30 million in turnover at the end of this year, a growth of 14 percent on 2011. The company hopes that the long, hot summer will push consumption up and help the market grow by up to 7 percent, above the initial 3 percent increase estimation, according to Camelia Hoinărescu, marketing manager of Rio Bucovina.

Last year's turnover for the company – of some EUR 25 million, was below the company's 2011 estimates, but it was achieved “ in a difficult economic context and in very competitive market conditions,” said Hoinarescu. editor@romania-insider.com
