Romanian power producer Hidroelectrica buys EUR 1.7 mln IT system

A joint venture made of Information Business Consulting, Electrica Soluziona and Indra has won the tender organized by the Romanian power producer Hidroelectrica for a EUR 1.7 million contract. Hidroelectrica wanted to acquire an Enterprise Resource Planning integrated information system. 11 bidders submitted their offers, five of them using the SAP platform, one of them the Oracle platform and one local producer. The price of EUR 1.7 million is the smallest amount a public institution has ever paid to acquire such a service, said Remus Borza, Hidroelectrica’s judicial administrator. editor@romania-insider.com
