Romanian pharmaceutical distributor Polisano borrows EUR 15 mln from BRD

Romanian pharmaceutical distributor Polisano, part of the health care group Polisano, closed a EUR 15 million financing deal with local lender BRD-Groupe Société Générale. It will use the money to cover the company’s necessary work capital. This year in January, Polisano took another loan worth EUR 10 million from lender Eximbank, according to an official announcement. Remus Borza, the group’s president, said that he’s currently negotiating with three other banks, to cover the distribution group’s work capital. In 2014, Polisano posted a EUR 7 million operating profit EBITDA and a EUR 3 million gross profit, as its total sales reached EUR 305 million. The Polisano group, which includes a hospital in Sibiu, several clinics and a drug factory, had a turnover of almost EUR 380 million. The group has 2,000 employees. editor@romania-insider.com
