Romanian pharma distributor invests EUR 1 mln in hybrid car fleet

Romanian pharmaceutical distributor Europharm Distributie (EPH), which recently became part of Interbrands Marketing & Distribution, will invest EUR 1 million in replacing its car fleet with hybrid vehicles by the end of this month. A number of over 80 cars will be replaced with the hybrid models Toyota Auris Terra and Toyota Yaris within a strategic partnership between IBR and Toyota in Romania. The new vehicles will represent the largest hybrid car fleet of a pharma distributor in Romania. The total investment of Europharm amounts to EUR 1 million. In the last year, the company also renewed its freight fleet via EUR 1.5 million investment. In November 2016, Interbrands acquired Europharm from British group GSK. editor@romania-insider.com
