Romanian oil and gas company Petrom has put out for tender exploitation rights in 13 oil fields in Timis region West of Romania, in a 15-year contract valued at EUR 250 million. OMV Petrom will continue its externalizations program for certain operations.
OMV Petrom last year started a contract with Texas-based company PetroSantander for nine oil fields in the Arad area, also in western Romania. A similar contract was signed with Petrofac last year for nine oil fields in Gorj county.
