Romanian online car parts retailer Motorvip goes beyond online with traditional stores chain

Motorvip, one of the main online car parts retailers in Romania, plans to expand its business by opening several traditional stores across the country. The company will invest this year some EUR 250,000 in three stores to be opened in Sebes, Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest, reports local daily Wall-street.ro. The total investment also includes the launch of the first showroom in Sebes, for which the company spent EUR 130,000. Daniel Henegariu, manager of SC Promotor Srl - the company that owns Motorvip, believes sales will go up by a third after the showroom will be opened. He expects Motorvip’s sales to exceed EUR 1.4 million this year, up from EUR 0.8 million in 2013, writes Wall-street.ro. Henegariu plans to open a new showroom in Cluj-Napoca this autumn, and then to invest further in several cities, including Bucharest, Sibiu, Timisoara, Iasi and Constanta.
