Romanian MP, US State Secretary to make “cross-visits”

Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos will make an official visit to Washington in the first half of the year whereas the US State Secretary John Kerry will come to Bucharest during the same period. The Romanian and the US parts have established a “cross-visit”, said Dragos Tudorache, head of the Prime Minister’ Chancellery, cited by local Profit.ro. Two weeks ago, Victoria Nuland, the US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, made a visit to Romania. She met the Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos and the Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. Romania takes part in the development of the US missile defense system in Europe. The US missile facility installed at the Deveselu military base in Romania became operational at the beginning of the year. editor@romania-insider.com
