Local lender Libra Internet Bank recorded a net profit of almost EUR 5.4 million last year, and managed to increase its net assets by 45%. These were the bank’s best results in the last 20 years, according to the bank’s officials. The lender’s total assets reached EUR 537 million at the end of last year, triple compared to three years ago. Total deposits amounted to EUR 492 million, up 49% compared to 2014. The balance of loans totaled over EUR 291 million, and the bad loans rate reached 7.8%. Libra Internet Bank has been targeting individuals and small companies doing liberal and online activities in Romania.
