Local lender Bancpost gave the Traian Vuia Airport in Timisoara a EUR 2 million loan, for three years, to cover working capital. The airport wants to increase passenger traffic, diversity contracts with airlines, open new routes and invest in infrastructure, according to a bank. statement The airport recorded last year a traffic of 735,469 passengers, up 4.8%, and 10,293 flights, 1,000 less compared to 2014.
