Romanian leasing and consumer finance companies get EUR 61 mln of foreign capital

Leasing companies and consumer finance companies have received capital inflows of EUR 61.5 million in the first four months from their foreign shareholders, slightly down from the same period in 2010, when these amounted to EUR 64.7 million, according to the National Trade Registry Office data. In the first four months of this year, the largest contribution to capital was made by the OTP Leasing Romania’s shareholders, with a capital contribution of EUR 22.49 million, followed by Afin Leasing’s shareholders, that contributed with EUR 19.3 million. The following places are occupied by ING Lease Romania, with a contribution to capital of EUR 15.73 million in March, and UniCredit Consumer Financing with EUR 2.7 million, also in March. The data published monthly by the Trade Register include the first 40 companies that received the capital contribution, by the value of the allocated amounts.
