The verbs with the infinitive ending in „-
ea
” are considered verbs of the 2
nd
conjugation.

Some models conjugation are bellow:
A avea
(engl. to have),
a tăcea
(engl. to be silent),
a vedea
(engl. to see),

(engl. to drink)

As we can see from the above examples, the root verbs have a lot of irregular forms. Nevertheless, we can formulate some rules: at the root verb we have to add some endings. For the verbs from the 2
nd
group, the endings for most of the verbs are, respectively, as follows:
