Romanian IT&C retailer invests EUR 5.4 mln in green field store

Romanian IT&C retailer Altex opens on June 11 a green field store in Timisoara, western Romania, following a EUR 5.4 million investment. The company will thus reach a network of over 75 stores. The new unit offers over 15,000 products and has demo spaces of over 1,700 sqm, where customers can test out products. Altex has an annual turnover of over EUR 350 million. Altex, is one of the largest traditional electro-IT retailers in Romania, together with Flanco and Domo, while eMAG is the biggest online retailer.
