Romanian IT&C retailer Flanco Retail recorded in the first four months of the year a 20% increase in sales compared to the same period last year. Its business reached EUR 52.8 million. Meanwhile, the market increased in this period by only 13%. Flanco’s consumer credit offer supported the company’s growth, said Dragos Sirbu, CEO Flanco Retail. Installments accounted for a quarter of its total sales. The online sales also doubled compared to the same period last year. Sales of TV sets and small appliances increased by almost a third. Flanco will open its 90th store next week, some 1,300 sqm in the Mega Mall shopping center in Bucharest. editor@romania-insider.com
