Romanian investment company SIF Oltenia recorded a profit of RON 60.1 million (EUR 13.4 million) in the first half of this year, down by a third compared to the same period in 2013, reports local Ziarul Financiar. Last year, SIF Oltenia registered a net profit of RON 130 million (EUR 29.4 million), up 47 percent year-on-year. The company’s net asset was RON 1.72 billion (some EUR 391 million) at the end of June this year, up from RON 1.66 billion (EUR 375 million) in May. Irina Popescu, irina.popescu@romania-insider.com
