Romanian investment fund SIF Oltenia buys 0.44% stake in gas transporter Transgaz from Fondul Proprietatea

Romanian investment fund SIF Oltenia has acquired 51,826 shares in local gas transporter Transgaz from Fondul Proprietatea, for RON 8.9 million (or EUR 2 million). SIF Oltenia purchased the shares, which represent a 0.44 percent stake in the gas transmission company, at a price of RON 172 per share (or some EUR 38). Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea announced on Thursday (December 12) that it sold its entire stake of 15 percent in Transgaz for some EUR 67.3 million. Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Raiffeisen Capital & Investment and Wood & Company Financial Services were global coordinators and joint book runners in the sale.
