The Romanian Intelligence service (SRI) will organize a tender in March to acquire IT equipment. This is needed to create a system that allows key state institutions databases to interconnect. The contract, which has a seven-month duration, is worth some EUR 15.7 million (VAT included), reports local Mediafax. The deadline to submit offers is March 16. SRI will finance the contract through non-reimbursable external funds. The Intelligence Service has organized 12 tenders since January 2014. It has bought equipment and services worth EUR 9 million to protect the national IT&C infrastructure against cyberspace dangers. editor@romania-insider.com
