Romanian insurer targets EUR 225 mln revenues

Romanian insurer Allianz-Tiriac Asigurari has targeted gross written premiums revenues above RON 1 billion (EUR 225 mln) for this year, compared to EUR 222 million in 2014. The company posted a 7% year-on-year increase in revenues last year from general and life insurance premiums. Its operating profit rose by about three quarters, to about EUR 11.2 million. Revenues from general insurance grew by 7.7% last year on 2013, reaching EUR 199.5 million. The auto insurance policies CASCO and RCA recorded last year subscriptions worth EUR 142.4 million, up 8.3% over the previous year. editor@romania-insider.com
