Romanian healthcare operator MedLife opens hyper-clinic in Iasi, after over EUR 1 mln investment

Romanian private healthcare operator MedLife has continued expansion in the country and recently opened a new hyper-clinic in Iasi, after an investment of EUR 1.1 million. Thus, the company reaches a total of 11 hyper-clinics in Bucharest and across the country, and plans two other openings this year, in Constanta and Cluj-Napoca. The unit located in Iasi covers an area of 1,200 sqm and has more than 20 medical specialties. A team of around 100 people work in the new clinic. In late-April, MedLife opened another hyper-clinic in Galati, Romania, following an investment of EUR 800,000. MedLife has been active on the Romanian market since 1996 and is currently the largest private medical operator on the local market. The company currently runs 11 hyper-clinics, 8 test laboratories, 6 hospitals, 3 maternity hospitals, 30 general medical units, 9 specialized units and 7 pharmacies under the PharmaLife brand.
