Romanian grocery Bacania cu Suflet eyes higher turnover, national delivery this year

Bacania cu Suflet, a business founded by Romanian entrepreneurs Doina and Liviu Oprea, targets sales of up to RON 1 million (EUR 224,000) this year, higher than in the previous years, according to Wall-street.ro. The two Romanian entrepreneurs will mainly focus on online orders this year, planning to start delivery of traditional products across the country. In 2013, the grocery recorded total sales of EUR 120,000, double compared to the year before. Some of the best sold products in the grocery are the cold cuts, such as duck pastrami, rabbit roulade or bacon, as well as several types of cheese and wine. A quarter of the grocery’s clients are companies, while the rest are individuals. Doina and Liviu Oprea started Bacania cu Suflet in 2011, as a family business.
