Romanian Government to discuss VAT cut for food with the IMF

VAT reduction for other food categories will be on the agenda of talks with the International Monetary Fund IMF in December, according to Daniel Botanoiu, Secretary of State in the Agriculture Ministry. “We’ll first discuss the positive effects of reducing VAT for bread and we’ll present the studies we have made for meat, vegetables, fruits and milk.
