Romania’s Finance Ministry sold benchmark bonds of around EUR 244.8 million on Monday, at an average yield of 6.6 percent a year, according to the Romanian Central Bank (BNR). The initial target for the bid was EUR 229 million, but banks have placed purchase offers for over EUR 560 million.
