Romanian electro-IT retailer Flanco estimates EUR 24 mln revenues on Black Friday

Romanian electronics and IT&C retailer Flanco estimates sales of EUR 24.8 million during the Black Friday weekend, between November 21 and November 23, 50% larger than on last year’s Black Friday sales event, according to the company’s representatives, quoted by Hotnews.ro. The retailer comes with maximum discounts of up to 80%, while the average discounts will be around 35-45%. Flanco also estimates that about 1.3 million customers will visit its stores during this period and the overall number of transactions will reach 200,000. The online sales will have a 10% share, according to Flanco’s estimates. Last year Flanco sold on Black Friday products worth EUR 16.2 million and had a turnout of EUR 137 million for the whole year. The company has 87 stores and 1,100 employees. In the first nine months of this year, Flanco had sales of some EUR 110 million, 10% higher than in the same period of last year.
