Romanian car brand Dacia increased its market share in Europe by 0.2% year-on-year in the third quarter, to 2.4%, and remains the brand with the highest growth on the European auto market, contributing to the 6.7% increase in the revenue of French Renault, Dacia’s owner. Renault reported higher revenues in the third quarter of this year, of EUR 8.53 billion. During the same period last year, the group posted revenues of EUR 7.99 billion. In the first nine months, Renault’s total revenues dropped by 0.3% year-on-year, according to the company.
