Romanian company buys EUR 18,000 worth of chocolate pralines during holidays

A company from the Romanian banking sector bought EUR 18,000 worth of Belgian pralines, from Leonidas chocolate stores owned by Romanian Ion Codreanu during the winter holidays. In December last year, the three Leonidas stores owned by Codreanu sold EUR 100,000 worth of Belgian pralines. The largest orders, of EUR 18,000 and EUR 10,000 were made by companies from the banking sector, reports local business daily Zf.ro. According to the Romanian businessman, all the three stores recorded higher sales during the winter holidays. Ion Codreanu, who started the chocolate business in 2009 and is one of the two master franchisers of Leonidas chocolate in Romania, owns three stores on the local market, two of them in Bucharest, and the third one in Brasov.
