Local investment fund Certinvest, the largest independent assets manager, wants to become an integrated financial group. It plans to be active on three business lines, namely investments, life insurance and private pension. Last year, the company signed the agreement to take over AXA Romania together with local fund SIF Transilvania. It also started the procedure to take over the optional pension company APF from Metropolitan Life. The total assets managed by Certinvest increased by 14 % last year, reaching EUR 57 million. editor@romania-insider.com
