Romanian capital market, fastest evolution in Europe

The Romanian capital market has the quickest development in Europe, even if it is still small and faces many challenges, said Ludwik Sobolewski, the general director of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, cited by local Agerpres. Creating the alternative trading market AeRO for small and medium enterprises and startups and eliminating the taxes on dividends, such as proposed by the new Fiscal Code, makes Romania a good place to invest, not “just another market from Europe”. The zero tax on dividends shows the Government’s economic intelligence, as it made the correct calculations on the impact and the positive effects over market liquidity and solidity.
