Romanian businessman Gheorghe Iaciu sells 5% package in SIF Muntenia

Romanian businessman Gheorghe Iaciu sold a package of 4.99 percent in investment fund SIF Muntenia (SIF4) for RON 42.3 million (some EUR 9.4 million), while investor Adrian Andrici sold a stake of 1.83 percent for over RON 15 million (EUR 3.45 million). The two businessmen have sold the shares at a price of RON 1.05 per share. “I’ve sold the position at SIF Muntenia. I focus on real estate,” said Iaciu, quoted by local business daily Ziarul Financiar. In the last hours of the Tuesday session, packages representing 7.86 percent of SIF Muntenia, were sold on the Bucharest Stock Exchange through six deals.
