Romanian brick producer’s turnover increases by more than half

Romanian brick producer Cemacon recorded in the first quarter of 2015 a net profit of EUR 1.8 million, while its turnover went up by more than half. The company has completed the financial and operational restructuring process, started in 2010, said Liviu Stoleru, Cemacon general manager. In the first three months of the year, the turnover grew by 58% year-on-year. The growth was due to the sale of finished products. The sales of ceramic blocks increased in the first quarter of the year by 51% in volume and by 68% in value. editor@romania-insider.com
