A Romanian man who has been living as a beggar in Sweden recently won USD 27,000 on the lottery and now wants to build himself a house in Romania, according to Swedish website thelocal.se. The man actually won a car but chose to receive a slightly smaller amount in cash. He has returned to Romania and opened his first bank account. "I don't know what to believe. My wife doesn't believe me and I can understand her. I can hardly believe it myself," the man told Swedish Faktum magazine. He wants to build a house with the money, as he was homeless in Romania as well. Diana Mesesan, diana@romania-insider.com
