The local lenders’ net interest margin on the segment of outstanding loans and deposits in lei grew by nine basis points month-on-month to 4.87% in February. The average interest rate on loans went up by three basis points to 6.04% whereas the interest rate on deposits went down by six basis points to 1.17% reaching a historical low, reports local Economica.net. The net interest margin on the segment of new loans and deposits in lei rose by twelve basis points month-on-month to 4.87%. The interest rate on loans reached 5.76% whereas the interest rate on deposits amounted to 0.89% reaching a historical low. editor@romania-insider.com
