Romanian IT&C retailer Altex expects EUR 75 mln sales from its 32-day Black Friday

The Black Friday shopping campaign carried out by the local electro-IT retailer Altex & Media Galaxy will generate sales of EUR 75 million, according to Dan Ostahie, the company’s owner. The campaign started on October 30 and will end on November 30. Ostahie said that the company decided to stretch the Black Friday event over an entire month to avoid delivery delays, reports local Capital.ro. Altex organized four Black Friday events throughout one year, in every season. The summer campaign brought sales of EUR 8 million. Altex & Media Galaxy has a network of 90 stores. The company targets a turnover of EUR 450 million for this year. Last year, the business amounted to EUR 334.2 million. editor@romania-insider.com
