Romania reaches, slightly exceeds budget revenue targets

Romania has managed to reach and even slightly exceed its budget revenues target in the first eight months of the year, according to Prime Minister Victor Ponta, and fell into the ‘optimistic’ vision which was usually attributable to former finance state secretary Gheorghe Gherghina, who ‘would see everything growing’. The good results are due to the Fiscal Administration Agency restructuring, better legislative framework, the leadership team at the Finance Ministry, and better collaboration between state institutions. editor@romania-insider.com
