Romania will grant five-year visas to Turkish business people, part of a package of measures aiming to facilitate Turkish investments in the country, according to Romanian president Traian Basescu, quoted by Today's Zaman ( December 12 ). Basescu is on an official trip to Turkey, where he will attend a Romanian – Turkish business forum in Istanbul on Tuesday. Read the full story here. Turkey is Romania's fifth biggest trade partner. There are 6,000 Turkish companies active in Romania.
