Romania is considered to be riskier for business than Bulgaria, Hungary and other emerging economies in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), according to a risk chart made by Swiss insurer Zurich Re and published by Bloomberg. However, Romania’s risk profile is lower than that of Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and Croatia. The riskiest emerging economies in the world, according to this ranking are Venezuela, Nigeria and Egypt. On the other end, Taiwan, Quatar and United Arab Emirates have the lowest risks. The risk ranking covers 43 emerging markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. editor@romania-insider.com
