Romania organizes second fiscal lottery draw. The winning receipts

The Romanian fiscal receipt lottery’s second draw took place on Sunday, June 28. The winning receipts are the ones issued on May 23, with a value of RON 135. This was the draw’s first stage. The second part will randomly select 100 out of the total number of potential winners that submit their winning receipts. The Budget and Finance Commission in Romania’s Chamber of Deputies decided to split the draw in two stages and award maximum 100 prizes, after the first draw of the fiscal receipt lottery ended with too many winners. The Romanian Finance Ministry launched a fiscal lottery to encourage consumers to ask for fiscal receipts and keep them. The first draw was on April 13, and more than 9,150 people announced they had winning receipts. The RON 1 million (EUR 225,000) prize thus split between these people, each gaining about RON 109 (EUR 23) in the end. editor@romania-insider.com
