Romania imports 3 mln tonnes equivalent petrol in six months, down 10 percent
Romania imported 3.1 million tonnes of equivalent petrol in the first half of this year, which was 10.8 percent less than in the same period of 2009, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics.

Romania imported 3.1 million tonnes of equivalent petrol in the first half of this year, which was 10.8 percent less than in the same period of 2009, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics. The petrol production was of 2 million tonnes during this interval, 1.2 percent lower than in the same period of last year. The prognosis for the entire 2010 is of 4.4 million tonnes of equivalent petrol produced locally and imports of around 7.25 tonnes equivalent petrol.
