Romania's furniture exports, in first four months, totaled EUR 356 million, 7.3 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year, according to the National Institute of Statistics' data. The imports amounted to EUR 90.4 million, 12.1 percent lower compared to January-April 2009. Some 50,600 people were working in the furniture industry at the end of April, the net average earning amounting to RON 949 end-June. AGERPRES
